Job Description




  • Manage Service Department resources both personnel and supplies

  • Ensure that service department meets required safety standards for a hazard-free work environment

  • Develop strategy to increase service business so as to utilize all techs efficiently to its greatest potential

  • Responsible for warranty standards and claims ? constant review to see that we are in compliance with Ford

  • Service Manager has a full understanding of the job requirements of everyone in the department and how those jobs are to be performed

  • Work closely with the Parts Manager

  • Handle customer complaints as they relate to the Service Department

  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have

  • Service Managers manage and hire?technicians

  • Ensure that Advisors keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.

  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.

  • Spend quality time building customer relationships, both with individuals and commercial.?


?As a Ford Automotive Service Manager, you will be experienced and aware of the latest customer service practices and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as a Service Manager:?



  • Ford Service Manager experience is preferred

  • Must be able to recruit and grow large serve department

  • ADP/CDK experience is a plus

  • At least 3 years of experience in service management

  • Previous Ford franchise experience strongly preferred

  • Must have computer proficiency

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
